FAQ's

ReferralsIf you are not sure if your insurance company requires a referral from your primary care physician before your appointment, you need to call the insurance company and confirm.
How long will my appointment last? The appointment itself usually lasts 15 minutes. However, if you are new to our office you have to allow time for your paperwork to be processed. We also ask for your patience because our doctors are surgeons and maybe called out to surgery or be late returning from surgery and that may cause your appointment to be delayed or in some cases to be rescheduled. If it is appropriate, you may be asked to see our nurse practitioner. We ask for your understanding when this does happen.
Will I always see the same provider?Yes, most of the time. However, some patients may be asked to see the nurse practitioner if the doctor’s schedule is busy and if it is appropriate for the patient. Sometimes if the doctor has been called to emergency surgery we may ask, if appropriate, for you to see the nurse practitioner, rather than reschedule your appointment.
Do I have to pay my copayment at the time of service?Yes. We don’t bill for co-payments. Unless prior arrangements have been made.
Who do I call if I have a question about a bill?If you have a question about your bill please feel free to all our office @ 508-756-6293. We have two full-time billing and coding specialists that are always happy to answer your questions.
